United States

  • Food Safety Recall: Yamaya USA, Inc. (Torrance, CA) recalls Yamaya USA, Inc. Masago Capelin Roe (2lb/907g plastic container; Item No. 09867), after FDA reports finding Listeria monocytogenes in samples of finished product. The Masago was distributed to retail stores in Los Angeles (CA), Baltimore (MD), and Atlanta (GA), and was exported to Mexico.
  • Food Safety Recall: Landshire Inc. (St. Louis, MO) recalls Nike All-American pre-packaged sandwich (7.25-oz; Lot #112376; UPC 097488017415), after a routine sample collected by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled sandwiches were distributed to supermarkets nationwide, including Walmart stores.

Canada

  • Allergy Alert: Grant Chocolatier recalls Grant Chocolatier Dark Chocolate (30g; no codes), due to the presence of undeclared milk. The recalled product was distributed to retailers in Québec.
  • Allergy Alert: Handi Foods Ltd. (Weston, ON) recalls Handi brand 100 Calories Multigrain Bagels (fresh or frozen; all lot codes and best before dates), because the product contains sunflower seeds that are not declared on the label in French. The recalled bagels were distributed in Ontario and Québec. One illness has been reported.

Latin America and the Caribbean
